It's a...

Last night I told Fred Rion he was going to the doctor with me in the morning. He asked if I was going to get the baby out. I told him no, it's so we could see the baby in my tummy and we would get pictures. Then he said he was a baby in my tummy. I told him, yes he was. Then he said it was hot. I asked him if he remembered that and he said he did and then went on about how deserts are hot too.
Anyway, the person (I don't know their title) that did that ultrasound said she thought it was a girl although I am still unconvinced. She didn't see any evidence that showed it was a boy so she thinks its a girl. The baby kept her legs together so it was hard to tell. Must be a girl if she is keeping her legs together. :) The baby was really active during the ultrasound. She yawned and was moving around and touched her toes once. The boys were less than thrilled although Fred Rion told the neighbor that there are baby parts in my tummy because the ultrasound lady said we were looking at baby parts. But Fred is convinced it is a girl, he claims he could tell before the lady said it was a girl. Whatever. I'm still worried it will be a boy, but that won't stop me from buying a bunch of little girl clothes. I'll just keep the tags on everything.

Stacy- I really like the idea you made of the Dragon Tails, that's creative. So cute. I had a blast over vacation and it went by way to fast! I had a wonderful time with everyone and it was great to get us together for all of it.
Not much new around these parts. Brian is doing well. I have talked to him either online or on the phone just about every night. As everyone can tell he posted some pictures on the blog from his trip to Salt Lake City. It looked very nice. He has the digital camera with him so I expect some more pictures sometime on the blog when he has the chance. It also sounds like he's already busy with projects from work and is enjoying it.
I guess I have been trying to keep myself as busy as possible. I have been working in the garden quite a bit and I have already picked some strawberries and planted a few new flowers. I enjoy the garden and it also gets me outside. I'm also starting to work on our honeymoon plans for next year. Brian graduates in December and I beleive the graduation is around the 16th-22nd. Somewhere in there, I will have to double check. Brian and I are getting very anxious to go and we may be thinking of a winter trip to Europe. I think either way it would be beautiful and wonderful. Plus, the hotels may be cheaper. he he. So, I have two dates in mind that I am working with and it can keep me busy.
This Wednesday I will be at the Brewers/Braves game. Work is having a manager's outing where the game is free and we will be picked up by limo to Milwaukee. We will be tailgating for about an hour and then some free drinks at the park. I guess we are suppose to keep looking at the big screen above the score board because our hotel or group will be on it sometime during the game. Cool huh? I love my job. :-)
Well that's about it from here. Talk to everyone again soon. Love you all and miss you.

Memorial weekend

Hope everyone is recovering from vacation. We could have went to Dave and Peggy's cabin at Lake Tshida this weekend, but I just wanted to stay home. We didn't do too much which was nice.
Today we went to the zoo. I think it almost got to 80 degrees, but it was cloudy so it wasn't too bad. A lot of the animals were active. We were at the otter cage when they got fed. It was so funny because the otter got up on his hind legs as soon as he heard the zoo worker drive up. The other otter got up from his nap as soon as he heard the food hit the water. Torii really liked the pygmy marmosets because they are on Diego. He always asks to watch that episode. I should see if its on DVD somewhere.
Last night we went to the neighbors and sat around their "campfire." I was looking at getting one at Target for our driveway, but saved the money instead. It's just a metal fire pit thing that is enclosed. We weren't going to stay long, but were there until almost midnight. Fred Rion isn't shy at all and he told the neighbor he was hungry so she made him a snack. That kid won't stop eating lately.
Tonight we had Dragon Tails for supper. It's just taco salads, but I shaped the kids so it was the shape of a dragon tail and then put red tortilla chips in the middle of the tail so it looked like the spikes of the tail. Fred Rion really liked it.

Wisconsin vacation

Rion and Torii after their first baseball game.
We walked down State Street and took a break near the U of Wis. Student Union and watched the ducks.

Poor Fred Rion got tuckered out at the Wilderness waterpark.

He was still tired a couple of days later. Here he is on our last morning in Madison at the Madison Concourse Hotel. He was nice and comfy with all the pillows.

Mall of America

Legoland

We had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. After lettingthe kids run in the mall and feeding them, they slept good on the way to the Dells.

Fred Rion enjoyed looking around at the restaraunt in Madison. It's called Quaker Steak and Lube. Funny name but pretty neat place with motorcycles hanging from the ceiling and cars displayed everywhere.
I think half of the ice cream cone is on his face. What a cutie.

Miller Park

I loved going to a baseball game again! It brought back so many memories! Twins lost, but it was a good game. The kids did good, and enjoyed many tasty treats! :)

Wisconsin Dells

Here are some pictures of the Wisconsin Dells. We all had a lot of fun! Staying at the Wilderness hotel was lots of fun. We played arcade games, and did a lot of swimming. Kelly, Brain and I also played laser tag. That was really fun.

Fred Rion had fun playing the bowling game...

This is a white chocolate covered strawberry that Kelly and I shared. I have never seen a strawberry so big!

Dad enjoyed the private elevator to the Governor's Club rooms to get to their room and the lounge. The elevator is all gold colored with marble flooring/half wall and glass mirror all around. Ohhh, fancy.
Mom & Dad enjoying a relaxing night of free drinks and free cheesecake in the Governor's Club Lounge at the hotel with the beautiful view the state capitol.
Along State street we found a hat shop. Could you see dad wearing this while mowing? Ha ha ha
